Today I am sharing something pretty close to my heart, my own love story! I have had numerous requests over on Instagram about this. You guys are always curious how the heck I ended up in Germany and how I married a German man – Manuel! So let’s start from the beginning…. Manuel and I met in Milwaukee, WI about two weeks after he arrived there for a 6 month work experience. I had moved to Milwaukee for work about 1 year prior. We met in a bar and I was intrigued by Manuel’s unique (German) accent and he thought…
2018 – Year in Review
2018 was a crazy year. It flew by, and was filled with tons of travel, moving, and many ups and downs. As the year came to a close, I wanted to reflect on the past year as a whole. Sometimes it can be difficult to realize everything great that happened throughout the year, and I want to be able to look back and be thankful for all the opportunities that came our way in 2018. Through all of these ups and downs, I took time to determine what I wanted for myself and my business in the future. I kept asking myself – if I died tomorrow, would I be satisfied with the life I lived? Did I do what I loved? Did I accomplish what I wanted?…
Holiday Photos
I try to make it a point every year to take photos of Manuel and I. I know he never likes doing it, but he is always happy to have them. And I know that one day we will look back and be so happy to have captured each stage of our lives. After such a crazy year, I almost forget to fit this in! Luckily, we were able to find an amazing photographer, Haverlee Photography, and capture these lovely images! Now, my only issue with having so many pictures of us? I’m running out of wall space! If you…
