It has been a few weeks since I have been able to blog. Last weekend, we traveled to Seeg (Manuel’s hometown) to go to the Bier Tent. Every year the town has a huge tent put up and about 4,000 people attend to listen to live music, dance, and drink beer. I got to wear my dirndl for the first time which was pretty exciting! Today the scariest, most terrifying, thing happened to me. I am still sick to my stomach writing this and it happened a few hours ago already…. Hey all! It has been raining here for the last week or so, with very few breaks. Gosh am I ready for summer! The crazy thing is, when it rains here, snails and worms cover the sidewalks. Charlie is finally here!
Charlie has finally arrived! However, I should probably not only talk about him the entire post so we will get back to him later. My German language course has been going well. I am learning new things every day and I actually was able to have a (broken) 5 minute conversation with some neighbors yesterday! Yey me! German is an awfully hard language to learn and it floors me that some people who are in the course with me have been living in Germany for over 3 years and they still speak less German than I do.
